Reclaim does not collect, store or transmit your personal data. Your photos and videos never leave your device. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising.
Photos and videos
Reclaim asks for access to your photo library so it can find duplicates, large videos, screenshots and other items you may want to remove. All analysis happens on your device, using Apple's on device frameworks. Reclaim also reads the text in your screenshots, on your device, to tell a boarding pass from a receipt. No photo, video, thumbnail, or anything read or derived from them is ever uploaded, shared or seen by us.
What stays on your device
Reclaim keeps a small amount of information on your device so it can work: which photos you have marked or kept, cached measurements so a rescan is faster, and a running total of how much space your cleanups have freed, which tracks the free allowance. That total is kept in the device's Keychain so it survives reinstalling the app. None of this identifies you, and none of it leaves the device.
What we do not do
We do not create an account for you. We do not collect analytics, identifiers or usage data. We do not use third party tracking. We do not show ads. We have no servers that receive anything from this app.
Deletion
When you remove items with Reclaim, they are deleted through Apple's Photos system, which moves them to your Recently Deleted album for about 30 days. Reclaim cannot bypass this. You confirm every deletion in a system dialog controlled by iOS, not by us.
Purchases
Reclaim Pro is sold through Apple. When you buy, Apple processes the payment and gives the app a signed receipt that it checks on your device. We do not receive your name, payment details or Apple ID. Apple's privacy policy governs the transaction.
Permissions
Photo library access can be granted, limited or revoked at any time in Settings. The app works with limited access, and says so when its figures cover only your selection.
Children
Reclaim is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on request. Everything Reclaim stores lives on your device and is under your control.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here and at the hosted address before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the current version.
